Oak Priory’s ART Brasil Music Session
On Friday 13th April, our Mid Stoke group based at Oak Priory Extra Care Facility in Abbey Hulton were treated to a morning of music and dance.
The group were joined by Mika from ART Brasil, who led a seated Samba session. Mika talked the group through a series of dance routines to get them moving to the Brazilian carnival music. As you can see-they didn’t stay seated for long!
Music is especially important to individuals with dementia as it can help bring back forgotten memories, stimulate their minds and enhance their well-being.
