Kate’s Dream Riders have raised an outstanding £425 for Approach following their ride out to Llandudno.

The motorcycle group was initially set up to raise funds to support their name sake, Kate Madeley fund her bucket list dreams after she was diagnosed with cancer. The group also now fundraise to help other local causes continue their great work.

We were delighted to hear that Kate’s Dream Riders wanted to raise funds for Approach to help us continue to provide services for people living with dementia and their carers.

Thanks to the event organisers, Kevin and Craig Edwards and Kate’s mum, Denise the group raised an outstanding £425 for Approach.

Approach employees, Dawn and Hannah visited Kate and her family at her home to pick up the cheque and to thank them for organising such a fantastic ride in aid of Approach.

We would also like to send a special thank you to all of the riders who took part in the event, especially in such wet conditions…We’ve heard even their leathers couldn’t keep them dry!!
