Approach has been successful with an application with a bid to The Screwfix Foundation who have generously donated £3500 to help make improvements to one of our venues – The Brook Centre.
The money will help make repairs to the building and to help create new outdoor activities. The venue is shared with disability charity Our Space. Approach use the venue to host Men in Sheds Groups, training sessions and volunteer meetings.
Approach Company Secretary Caroline Sargeant said “It’s great news that we have been successful with our bid and this money will help us to continue to improve the building. Our service users will also appreciate the upgrades, particularly the gardening activities that we are planning. Everyone at Approach would like to thank The Screwfix Foundation for their kind donation.”
