Day Opportunities Support Worker

£8.27 per hour, increasing to £8.50 per hour with NVQ/QCF Level 2 Certificate in Health & Social Care.
12 hours per week, over 2 days (Tuesday & Thursday, with the flexibility to work an additional day when required).
Approach runs high quality day opportunity groups for people with dementia, which run from 10.00am to 3.00pm in Burton-on-Trent. The post-holder will support the Day Opportunities Officer in the running of the groups. They will preferably hold a Level 2 NVQ/QCF in a Health and Social Care. A full induction and training will be given upon commencement for the successful applicant.
It is essential that the post holder is a car driver and has the use of a four door car suitable for carrying older people for the duration of their employment with Approach. An allowance of 0.42p pence per mile is paid.

Interviews to be held on Thursday 21st June 2018.
Annual Leave entitlement is 27 days per annum plus bank holidays, pro rata to full time staff.
