Join Approach for our annual “Walk to Remember” event at Westport Lake. It usually takes place on the first Sunday of Dementia Awareness Week. Here are details of our 2017 Walk which was held on 14th. May
Wear your Dementia Friends Badge with pride so that people know that you are supportive or can ask about it
Raise your own awareness of the scale, costs and economic impact that Dementia has on the UK by reading this report on the Alzheimer’s Society Website

Post information on your social media channels e.g. share the join dementia friends link on your facebook page or twitter timeline
Host your own Dementia fundraising event or raise money by doing an activity –for a Dementia related charity. You could organise a coffee morning or if you are really ambitious then something along the lines of the Betley Bike Curious Team have set up:-
